Story
This candle was inspired by the vacations I looked forward to every year growing up.
Camping wasn't about luxury. It was about packing up the car, setting up the tent, and spending the next few days outside from sunrise until the stars came out. We built our own fire pits, and no matter how hard you tried, the smell of campfire smoke followed you everywhere. Looking back, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
My favorite part was always the pine trees. As the sun warmed them throughout the day, they filled the air with a scent I'll never forget. When evening came, the wind would move gently through their branches, and I'd lay back, looking up through the towering pines at a sky overflowing with stars. The air was cool, the world was quiet, and for those moments, life couldn't have been any better.
Whenever I light Northwood, I'm taken back to those camping trips and reminded that some of life's greatest memories were made with nothing more than a tent, a campfire, and the people I loved.
